Kristy has many years of experience working with persons with complex issues surrounding severe mental illness and substance dependence. She completed her Bachelor of Psychology at Central Michigan University in 1998 and continued on to earn a Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University in 2001. She has extensive training in Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds and has special interest in the area of recovery from trauma.
